Tanger Serif

This booklet was designed to showcase the functionalities and specifications of a given typeface. My typeface was Tanger Serif, which is used throughout this website. As this typeface is used for reading text, I chose to use extracts from novels to show off its versatility in this area.

The title “a rat in a maze is free to go anywhere as long as it stays inside the maze” is a quote from The Handmaid’s Tale, which is a running theme throughout the booklet. The red accent colours and use of redaction are also features that play into this topic.
